We created a full conference in collaboration with Joint Economic Development Initiative (JEDI), the Ulnooweg Development Group, Mi’kmaq Economic Benefits Office (MEBO), and Atlantic Policy Congress of First Nations Chiefs Secretariat (APCFNC), funded by Indigenous Services Canada (ISC). This conference offered a comprehensive agenda that encompassed engaging panel discussions, interactive workshops, an inspiring keynote speech by Chief Terry Paul of Membertou, and valuable networking opportunities. The workshops delved into crucial topics such as Partnership Brokering, Entrepreneur Supports & Philanthropy, Capacity Development for Community, Detailed Support for Businesses, First Nations Financial Management, and Elsipogtog / Moncton Development. The panel discussions provided insightful discussions on ISC Economic Development Programming, developing partnerships, capacity development, and First Nations land management.
